Avangard is a leading company in wet wipes manufacturing and the largest producer of personal hygiene products in Russia and CIS.

Avangard Company entered the market in 2001 and made a name for itself in a very short time. Our business started with the construction of the plant for sanitary pads production and soon the Company started manufacturing products under its own trade mark Diva®. Receiving vast experience in production practices the Company continued to expand its activity and in 2002 the plant for wet wipes production was built.

Along with the production under our own trade marks such as Diva®, Salfeti®, Pamperino®, Top Gear®, House Lux®, OptiClean®, Mon Rulon®, Teddy Pets® we also produce wet wipes and sanitary pads under Customers trade marks according to their requirements (contract manufacturing). Products for more than 40 Client Companies are turned out on a contract basis at our plants.

Initially non-woven materials used in our country for wet wipes production were imported from Poland, Finland and China. This resulted in heavy costs for logistics and took too much time from the moment the order was placed till the moment the finished goods were turned over to a Customer. That is why it was decided to start producing non-woven materials at our plants, which made Avangard the first producer of the non-woven materials in Russia.

On March 20, 2007 the first non-woven production line with a capacity of 220 tons per month was started and from then on the produced non-woven material is used both for subcontracting and own production.

The start up of the second production line with a capacity of 560 tons per month is planned for March 2009. The second line will make it possible to start the production of cotton rounds.

The Company is now focused on the development in the following areas:

1. Production of wet wipes and sanitary pads under own trade marks
2. Production of wet wipes and sanitary pads under Clients’ trade marks and according to Client’s requirements (contract manufacturing)
3. Production of Spunlace non-woven material of varying density and width for own wet wipe production as well as for sales

3. Spunlace Production

Top-quality Spunlace non-woven material is produced on the most up-to-date French and Italian equipment basing on the use of the latest technologies. Avangard Company is delighted to offer you Spunlace non-woven fabric of width ranging from 0.1m to 1.10m, density varying from 30 to 100 g/m2 and of practically any type of winding.  The start-up of the second line allows us to expand the range of our products as well as to increase supply rate. The width of the web up to 2.6m allows using spunlace in manufacturing lab coats and scrubs. New production line will also make it possible to produce cotton rounds in quantity.
